Ages 9 - 12 June 15 - June 18 , 2:00pm - 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday Location: NAC Studio 3 This four day camp will be led by professional illustrator, Tim Davis. The camp will feature an interactive Highlights magazine Hidden Picture presentation, artist-led illustration with an emphasis on setting, hiding within students' illustrations, character for illustrations as well as students' show and tell times. Tim Davis has worked as a professional illustrator and published author for more than three decades. The most prolific Hidden Pictures© illustrator in Highlights magazine’s history with over 600 illustrations created, Tim has taught workshops for the iconic children’s magazine to train other illustrators in the art of Hidden Picture creation. Now he teaches some of those same techniques to elementary students. Tim has also written and illustrated 15 children’s chapter books: the Mice of the Herring Bone series (5 books) and the Tales of Dust River Gulch series (2 books) and the Mort the Mushroom series (3 books). His most recent books spin-off the Mice series: the Island Rule series (5 books): The Island Rule, The Island Rules?, The Island Rules!, Ways of the Deep, & The Deep Frees. He regularly teaches writing and illustration in elementary schools through the Smart Arts program of the Metropolitan Arts Council of Greenville, SC, along the coast with the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, and throughout the state with the South Carolina Arts Commission *If you register more than one child at check-out, please add that child's name and age in the "Additional Information" box. Cancellation Policy
Class Cancellation & Refund Policy We understand that life brings surprises to us all, and sometimes people must cancel their class reservation. Seating is limited and we may have people on the waiting list for the class. Please be considerate and let us know as soon as possible if you need to change your plans. Help us continue to offer these wonderful classes, at the most affordable costs possible, by reading and adhering to our cancellation, refund and transfer policies. Please note that under no circumstances will NAC prorate any classes, camps or workshops. Cancellation Policy Classes and Workshops: NAC cancels classes when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 2 business days before the class starts. One Day/Evening Workshops & Events: These 3-hour workshops or events are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 1 business days before the class starts. Kids & Teens Summer Camps: NAC cancels camps when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 4 business days before the camp starts. Refund Policy Full refunds are given for any class, workshop or event if the class is cancelled by NAC. Cancellations occur when the enrollment does not reach the minimum enrollment. If a student chooses to withdraw from a class, workshop or event, prior to the start date, the refund policy is as follows: Classes and Workshops • 100% refund with 4 or more days notice prior to start date of the class. • 50% refund with 3 or more days notice to start date of the class. • No refunds will be granted after the start of the class or workshop. Camps • 100% refunds with 7 or more days notice. • If a camper is not available for an entire week of camp, we highly recommend that the parents choose another week. Camps are designed to be a week-long learning experiences and projects are not designed to be completed on a day-by-day basis. Transfers • In place of refunds, transfers may be made to another class, or gift certificates may be issued to be used in the future toward classes, workshops and camps.
