That’s what we are here for! Sign up for a beginner class o(javascript:void(0))r join one of our one time events (javascript:void(0))to get a taste of painting, pottery or other forms of art.

We have classes for ages 5 to 100. However, we offer events throughout the year for younger children and families. See class listings f(javascript:void(0))or age appropriate opportunities.

Contact us to schedule your private event. We offer private events or parties for all ages and all occasions and would be happy to discuss the process, restrictions and cost with you to find the answer to meet your needs.

We occasionally offer online classes and some of our regular classes can be attended virtually. Please contact NAC with questions or suggestions for online classes. See our class listings page f(javascript:void(0))or our current offerings.

Scholarships are available for all ages for classes, camps and workshops. Please visit our scholarship application page a(https://www.createnewberry.org/scholarships)nd fill out the request form.

Gift certificates for classes, workshops, and the Artisan Shop are available for purchase in the store or online.(javascript:void(0)) Gift certificates expire one year after the date of issue. Each gift certificate is assigned a unique 'coupon' code. Simply include your code in the 'coupon' field on the payment screen to redeem your gift certificate when registering for classes. In addition, you can call or visit NAC and use your gift certificate to purchase artwork in the Artisan Shop. • Purchased gift certificates may be used for classes, clay, workshops, events and artwork from our Artisan Shop. • Gift certificates donated to organizations by NAC can only be used for classes, workshops and other events.

NAC is always looking for new and exciting art experiences for the community. If you have a great idea for a course and would like to teach at NAC, please let us know by completing an Instructor Application.(https://www.newberryartscenter.com/instructor-application-form) All instructors at NAC are subject to background check.

There are several ways to help support NAC. 1. Support NAC programs with your financial gifts online.(javascript:void(0)) CREATE Newberry, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) that helps support NAC through scholarships, program development and other meaningful ways. 2. Volunteer - more help allows us to expand our programs. Fill out the volunteer application o(https://www.newberryartscenter.com/volunteer-application-form)nline, give us a call or come see us at NAC. 3. Support local artists by shopping at NAC. 4. Tell your friends and neighbors about NAC.

For financial aid to support programming and scholarships at NAC, donate to CREATE Newberry, Inc. (javascript:void(0))For all other types of donations, please contact NAC directly.

You must be at least 14 years of age to volunteer at NAC.

The public is invited to the opening reception of all Plein air events. Artists who wish to participate in Plein air events should follow the registration guidelines of each individual event. See our current list of upcoming events t(javascript:void(0))o see what may interest you.

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, checks and cash.

Currently, our regular hours are 10am-5pm, Tuesday through Friday and most Saturdays from 11am - 4pm. We may be open for extended hours depending on events going on downtown, so please call ahead if you plan to visit NAC after regular hours. We can't wait to see you!

Currently, Newberry Artisan Shop only sells work of local artists and artists with a Newberry connection. CREATE Newberry, Inc. manages the shop and retains a 30% commission on all sales. Only work that is handmade will be accepted by the jury for consideration. CREATE reserves the right to refuse artwork that does not meet our standard of quality.
