Beginner level to Intermediate - 6 week class *Participants MUST be 18yrs. or older, no exceptions DEADLINE TO REGISTER: APRIL 21, 2026 Glazing With Purpose We will make test tiles, learn to read them and use the information learned to glaze your bisque pieces. Group discussions weekly will include critique of students’ glazing and discussion to help understand and expand our glazing choices. Everyone will try glazing techniques of brushing, dipping, pouring and spraying both commercial and studio glazes. Each student will make a small batch of glaze to learn how glazes are made. The use of wax resist, methods of protecting kiln shelves, and use of cookies will be covered . We will explore underglazes as well. To bring : A notebook or sketchbook 10 bone dry pieces made by student from cone 5/6 clay (available at NAC) including 2 mugs 2 cups, 2 bowls, 2 plates/platters and 2 flat tiles. (Pieces may be hand built or wheel thrown and all of “average” size.) ***We ask that you help us keep the air we share healthy and fragrance-free by not wearing perfume, cologne, aftershave, scented lotions or other fragrances while taking a class or workshop. The chemicals used in scented products can make some people sick, especially those with fragrance sensitivities, asthma, allergies and other medical conditions

Cancellation Policy
Class Cancellation & Refund Policy We understand that life brings surprises to us all, and sometimes people must cancel their class reservation. Seating is limited and we may have people on the waiting list for the class. Please be considerate and let us know as soon as possible if you need to change your plans. Help us continue to offer these wonderful classes, at the most affordable costs possible, by reading and adhering to our cancellation, refund and transfer policies. Please note that under no circumstances will NAC prorate any classes, camps or workshops. Cancellation Policy Classes and Workshops: NAC cancels classes when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 2 business days before the class starts. One Day/Evening Workshops & Events: These 3-hour workshops or events are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 1 business days before the class starts. Kids & Teens Summer Camps: NAC cancels camps when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 4 business days before the camp starts. Refund Policy Full refunds are given for any class, workshop or event if the class is cancelled by NAC. Cancellations occur when the enrollment does not reach the minimum enrollment. If a student chooses to withdraw from a class, workshop or event, prior to the start date, the refund policy is as follows: Classes and Workshops • 100% refund with 4 or more days notice prior to start date of the class. • 50% refund with 3 or more days notice to start date of the class. • No refunds will be granted after the start of the class or workshop. Camps • 100% refunds with 7 or more days notice. • If a camper is not available for an entire week of camp, we highly recommend that the parents choose another week. Camps are designed to be a week-long learning experiences and projects are not designed to be completed on a day-by-day basis. Transfers • In place of refunds, transfers may be made to another class, or gift certificates may be issued to be used in the future toward classes, workshops and camps.
