No experience needed. Adults only - Ages 18+ Minimum of 4 participants DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS MONDAY, February 9, 2026! Create Beauty: Pressed Flower Collage May all your weeds be wildflowers! This uplifting workshop is an invitation to see beauty in the unexpected, to reframe imperfections as gifts, and to meet the world with a gentler gaze. Using a curated selection of pressed flowers, you’ll design your own floral collage, arranging natural materials into patterns and compositions that reflect your personal sense of beauty and balance. As you work, tranquil nature scenes will play softly on the projector, creating a serene, immersive atmosphere. With no pressure to be precise or “artistic,” this workshop invites you to follow your visual intuition, slow down, and savor the process. It’s a perfect antidote to winter’s heaviness and a reminder that resilience and renewal are always possible. About the Instructor: Sudha McFadden is an Sudha McFadden is an artist, educator, and founder of Sumac Arts, a creative wellness consultancy dedicated to helping communities restore resilience and playfulness through mindful art and meditative practices. With a background in Montessori education and years of experience guiding people of all ages and abilities, Sudha brings a gentle, grounded teaching style that makes everyone, from seasoned artists to complete beginners, feel supported and inspired. Her workshops blend neuroscience-informed mindfulness with accessible art-making to create spaces where participants can relax, reconnect with themselves, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something by hand. Sudha’s approach is warm, encouraging, and deeply human. Join her and discover your own creative rhythm.

Cancellation Policy

Class Cancellation & Refund Policy We understand that life brings surprises to us all, and sometimes people must cancel their class reservation. Seating is limited and we may have people on the waiting list for the class. Please be considerate and let us know as soon as possible if you need to change your plans. Help us continue to offer these wonderful classes, at the most affordable costs possible, by reading and adhering to our cancellation, refund and transfer policies. Please note that under no circumstances will NAC prorate any classes, camps or workshops. Cancellation Policy Classes and Workshops: NAC cancels classes when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 2 business days before the class starts. One Day/Evening Workshops & Events: These 3-hour workshops or events are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 1 business days before the class starts. Kids & Teens Summer Camps: NAC cancels camps when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 4 business days before the camp starts. Refund Policy Full refunds are given for any class, workshop or event if the class is cancelled by NAC. Cancellations occur when the enrollment does not reach the minimum enrollment. If a student chooses to withdraw from a class, workshop or event, prior to the start date, the refund policy is as follows: Classes and Workshops • 100% refund with 4 or more days notice prior to start date of the class. • 50% refund with 3 or more days notice to start date of the class. • No refunds will be granted after the start of the class or workshop. Camps • 100% refunds with 7 or more days notice. • If a camper is not available for an entire week of camp, we highly recommend that the parents choose another week. Camps are designed to be a week-long learning experiences and projects are not designed to be completed on a day-by-day basis. Transfers • In place of refunds, transfers may be made to another class, or gift certificates may be issued to be used in the future toward classes, workshops and camps.
