No experience needed. Adults only - Ages 18+ Minimum of 4 participants DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 7! Slow down, tap into your creativity, and experience the meditative beauty of mandala drawing in this unique workshop. You’ll explore the ancient art of mandalas: circular, patterned designs that have been used across cultures for centuries to promote mindfulness, focus, and inner balance. Through guided instruction, you’ll learn foundational mandala techniques, experiment with structure and symmetry, and create your own unique design using archival paper and ink pens. No prior art experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and you’re sure to love what you create. As you draw, you’ll experience the calming effects of focused, repetitive mark-making and the satisfaction of seeing your creativity take shape. At the end of the workshop, you’ll frame your one-of-a-kind mandala, leaving with a tangible reminder of your creative journey. About the Instructor: Sudha McFadden is an artist, musician, and educator from South Carolina with a passion for fostering well-being and self-expression in people of all ages and abilities. Known for her friendly and welcoming approach to art, she has worked with diverse groups, helping participants find confidence in their creative voices. Sudha is the founder of Sumac Arts, an organization dedicated to bringing the transformative benefits of creativity to our community through meaningful artistic experiences, seminars and talks on creative mindset, and partnerships with local organizations. In this workshop, Sudha introduces mandala drawing, a practice that promotes relaxation, inner peace, and creative flow. With her nurturing teaching style, Sudha creates a supportive environment where everyone can experience the joy of art-making.

Class Cancellation & Refund Policy We understand that life brings surprises to us all, and sometimes people must cancel their class reservation. Seating is limited and we may have people on the waiting list for the class. Please be considerate and let us know as soon as possible if you need to change your plans. Help us continue to offer these wonderful classes, at the most affordable costs possible, by reading and adhering to our cancellation, refund and transfer policies. Please note that under no circumstances will NAC prorate any classes, camps or workshops. Cancellation Policy Classes and Workshops: NAC cancels classes when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 2 business days before the class starts. One Day/Evening Workshops & Events: These 3-hour workshops or events are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 1 business days before the class starts. Kids & Teens Summer Camps: NAC cancels camps when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 4 business days before the camp starts. Refund Policy Full refunds are given for any class, workshop or event if the class is cancelled by NAC. Cancellations occur when the enrollment does not reach the minimum enrollment. If a student chooses to withdraw from a class, workshop or event, prior to the start date, the refund policy is as follows: Classes and Workshops • 100% refund with 4 or more days notice prior to start date of the class. • 50% refund with 3 or more days notice to start date of the class. • No refunds will be granted after the start of the class or workshop. Camps • 100% refunds with 7 or more days notice. • If a camper is not available for an entire week of camp, we highly recommend that the parents choose another week. Camps are designed to be a week-long learning experiences and projects are not designed to be completed on a day-by-day basis. Transfers • In place of refunds, transfers may be made to another class, or gift certificates may be issued to be used in the future toward classes, workshops and camps.
