No walk-ins.* Julia Roach with assistance from Ron Wood Skill Level - Beginner Friday, November 13 from 10:00AM - 5:30PM *bring your own lunch Minimum of 4 registrations for the class to make. If you've ever wanted to try your hand at carving, this workshop is for you! Cottonwood Bark Carving is a great beginner workshop. Using palm gouges, we will carve a whimsical house. Some people call these fairy or gnome houses. With crooked roofs, windows, and doors to carve, there's plenty of ways to practice different techniques without the pressure of sticking to a pattern. The possibilities are endless with these whimsical houses. We'd love to help you start your carving journey with this Cottonwood Bark Carving Workshop! Finished size of carving will be approximately 4" tall by 2.5" wide by 1.75" thick Supplies Needed: Carving Gloves - Average cost is $10 *should be Level 5 cut protection for wood carving and can be found online All other supplies and materials will be provided. Bring your own water and lunch. We have a refrigerator you are welcome to use.

Class Cancellation & Refund Policy We understand that life brings surprises to us all, and sometimes people must cancel their class reservation. Seating is limited and we may have people on the waiting list for the class. Please be considerate and let us know as soon as possible if you need to change your plans. Help us continue to offer these wonderful classes, at the most affordable costs possible, by reading and adhering to our cancellation, refund and transfer policies. Please note that under no circumstances will NAC prorate any classes, camps or workshops. Cancellation Policy Classes and Workshops: NAC cancels classes when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 2 business days before the class starts. One Day/Evening Workshops & Events: These 3-hour workshops or events are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 1 business days before the class starts. Kids & Teens Summer Camps: NAC cancels camps when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 4 business days before the camp starts. Refund Policy Full refunds are given for any class, workshop or event if the class is cancelled by NAC. Cancellations occur when the enrollment does not reach the minimum enrollment. If a student chooses to withdraw from a class, workshop or event, prior to the start date, the refund policy is as follows: Classes and Workshops • 100% refund with 4 or more days notice prior to start date of the class. • 50% refund with 3 or more days notice to start date of the class. • No refunds will be granted after the start of the class or workshop. Camps • 100% refunds with 7 or more days notice. • If a camper is not available for an entire week of camp, we highly recommend that the parents choose another week. Camps are designed to be a week-long learning experiences and projects are not designed to be completed on a day-by-day basis. Transfers • In place of refunds, transfers may be made to another class, or gift certificates may be issued to be used in the future toward classes, workshops and camps.
