Service Description

Level: Beginner/Intermediate, Ages 14 and up Come learn the basics of quilt making in this entertaining 4-week class. Each week you will make a different quilt block while learning a different way to create your quilt. At the end of the class, you should have 4 blocks and the know-how to create your own unique quilt top. Size and pattern are up to you. Please bring a sewing machine in good working order to class and KNOW how to use it. If you have a ¼ inch foot, it will make your experience much easier. You will also need a decent pair of scissors, a rotary cutter with new blade and quilter’s ruler*. * 12 x 24 inch ruler is good but a smaller or larger will work. We will have a couple to share in class. We have a few basic machines at NAC available on a first come basis. Please to let us know if you will need to use one. They are only available to use during class; they cannot be taken home. This is a machine sewing class, but if you wish to sew your blocks by hand that will work. You will have a couple more steps, and it will take you longer to complete, but definitely doable. All supplies needed each week for your block, will be provided. Please let us know which fabric idea you prefer for your blocks: 1. Floral 2. Novelty 3. Black & White 4. Brights
