Quilt Block Class: Wonky Stars

Service Description
Level: confident beginner This is one of the most fun and versatile block to make! I love this star. This class is about letting your creativity shine. I will show you have to do a couple of my favorite Improv star blocks to get you going. You will learn a bit about improvisational sewing. A very open way to create your own quilts. You can do scrappy blocks or curate your colors. The number of blocks you will complete will depend on your skill level and desire to speed. During class you will receive ideas of how to assemble your blocks into a quilt top or other ideas for use. Supply List Most important, a sewing machine in good working order and the know-how to use it ** NAC does have a few machines we can set up for you to use, first come basis ¼ inch sewing foot.. this is optional for this class, but if you want to be a quilter, a must Scissors Seam ripper Rotary cutter with new blade Cutting mat ……this is optional, we will have a few set up to share Quilter’s rulers … a 12 inch square and/or a 6in x 24in Fabrics 1 yard of assorted cotton fabrics for the ‘stars’ 2yds cotton fabrics, assorted or not, for the background Thread to match or neutral color I used assorted black and whites for the background and assorted polka dots for the stars

Class Cancellation & Refund Policy We understand that life brings surprises to us all, and sometimes people must cancel their class reservation. Seating is limited and we may have people on the waiting list for the class. Please be considerate and let us know as soon as possible if you need to change your plans. Help us continue to offer these wonderful classes, at the most affordable costs possible, by reading and adhering to our cancellation, refund and transfer policies. Please note that under no circumstances will NAC prorate any classes, camps or workshops. Cancellation Policy Classes and Workshops: NAC cancels classes when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 2 business days before the class starts. One Day/Evening Workshops & Events: These 3-hour workshops or events are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 1 business days before the class starts. Kids & Teens Summer Camps: NAC cancels camps when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 4 business days before the camp starts. Refund Policy Full refunds are given for any class, workshop or event if the class is cancelled by NAC. Cancellations occur when the enrollment does not reach the minimum enrollment. If a student chooses to withdraw from a class, workshop or event, prior to the start date, the refund policy is as follows: Classes and Workshops • 100% refund with 4 or more days notice prior to start date of the class. • 50% refund with 3 or more days notice to start date of the class. • No refunds will be granted after the start of the class or workshop. Camps • 100% refunds with 7 or more days notice. • If a camper is not available for an entire week of camp, we highly recommend that the parents choose another week. Camps are designed to be a week-long learning experiences and projects are not designed to be completed on a day-by-day basis. Transfers • In place of refunds, transfers may be made to another class, or gift certificates may be issued to be used in the future toward classes, workshops and camps.
