Pottery Camp - ages 9-12 July 17-20

If registering child #3 or more, use CODE: 3rdchild ($15 discount) ***SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE*** PLEASE SEND A SNACK AND DRINK WITH YOUR CHILD 2:00pm - 5:00pm Monday - Thursday Erin White will be the instructor for this popular week of camp. This week children will use clay to make pottery by hand as well as on the pottery wheel. They will use different designing and glazing techniques and at the end of the week, they will have several clay projects which they will be proud to take home. Projects will vary according to age. *Please note: Due to having to fire pieces twice, the projects will have to be picked up the following week. Erin started taking pottery classes here at Newberry Arts Center several years ago and has found she is a natural. She has also been involved in teaching art to children for many years.

Cancelation Policy

Class Cancellation & Refund Policy We understand that life brings surprises to us all, and sometimes people must cancel their class reservation. Seating is limited and we may have people on the waiting list for the class. Please be considerate and let us know as soon as possible if you need to change your plans. Help us continue to offer these wonderful classes, at the most affordable costs possible, by reading and adhering to our cancellation, refund and transfer policies. Please note that under no circumstances will NAC prorate any classes, camps or workshops. Cancellation Policy Classes and Workshops: NAC cancels classes when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 2 business days before the class starts. One Day/Evening Workshops & Events: These 3-hour workshops or events are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 1 business days before the class starts. Kids & Teens Summer Camps: NAC cancels camps when enrollment minimums are not reached. Cancellations are determined no later than 4 business days before the camp starts. Refund Policy Full refunds are given for any class, workshop or event if the class is cancelled by NAC. Cancellations occur when the enrollment does not reach the minimum enrollment. If a student chooses to withdraw from a class, workshop or event, prior to the start date, the refund policy is as follows: Classes and Workshops • 100% refund with 4 or more days notice prior to start date of the class. • 50% refund with 3 or more days notice to start date of the class. • No refunds will be granted after the start of the class or workshop. Camps • 100% refunds with 7 or more days notice. • If a camper is not available for an entire week of camp, we highly recommend that the parents choose another week. Camps are designed to be a week-long learning experiences and projects are not designed to be completed on a day-by-day basis. Transfers • In place of refunds, transfers may be made to another class, or gift certificates may be issued to be used in the future toward classes, workshops and camps.
